"Brothers of Boom" Seahawks win SUPER BOWL LX (60) Pats-a-Hawk II, The Rematch 29-13 vs Patriots
February 9, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is reporting the Seattle Seahawks defeated the New England Patriots last-night 29-13 to win SUPER BOWL LX (60).
SBLX (60) was billed as Pats-a-Hawk II, The Rematch. Eleven-years ago at SUPER BOWL XLIX (49) the Patriots stunned the Seahawks 28-24. Seattle was on their 1-yard line driving for the winning TD, QB Russell Wilson threw an interception to Patriots CB Malcolm Butler near the goal-line in what some have said was the worst offensive call in SUPER BOWL history. Those demons were squashed last-night like the Pats offensive.
Two-years ago Mike McDonald was hired as the new Head Coach of the Seattle Seahawks. He was the previous defensive-coordinator (2022-23) of the Baltimore Ravens. He brought that defensive spirit back to Seattle that once was the hallmark of the Purple-n-Black that was played on the field by Ravens legends Ray Lewis, Ed Reed & Terrell Suggs. The Offensive sells tickets, but it's the defense that wins Championships.
Yesterday was also the 90th Anniversary of the very 1st NFL Draft from 1936. The '36 Draft was held at the Ritz Carlton in Philadelphia, PA.
New England at SBLX yesterday saw a new version of the "Legion of Boom"
The new SBLX (60) Champions have their own signature nickname, the "Brothers of Boom" brought pressure to the young QB of the Pats Drake Maye. He was hurried & pressured all-game long. Maye was sacked 6 times and was forced into 3 turnovers. Seattle led at halftime 9-0, Seahawks PK Jason Myers made three 1st half FG's. He finished with 5 FG's a new SUPER BOWL record.
Seahawks RB Kenneth Walker III gained 161 yards from scrimmage and was named SB MVP. The 4th quarter saw both teams score TD's and get some type of offensive-rhythm. Seahawks QB Sam Darnold went 19-38 for 202-yards, 1 TD and 0 interceptions. He didn't hurt his team, he managed a very good game.
The "Charm'tastic Mile" in association with the Famous Streets & Sports In America (Football) created the new nickname for the Seattle Seahawks, the "Brothers of Boom". The nickname was inspired by the 70's Pop/R&B group the Doobie Brothers and their lead singer Michael McDonald. Seahawks HC is named Mike McDonald.
Let's see in the next the 2-seasons where the "Brothers of Boom" rank with their predecessor the "Legion of Boom". Can Seattle make it back-to-back SUPER BOWL runs. Can't wait until the start of NFL Season '26. The NFL Draft will be held on April 23-25 in the Steel City, Pittsburgh PA.
