Are you ready to rock and roll? Thomas the Tank Engine™&nbsp;is making his way back to the B&amp;O Railroad Museum, &nbsp;for Day Out with Thomas™! Enjoy a real train ride pulled by Thomas™, live entertainment, lawn games, arts and crafts, free amusement rides, photo opportunities with Thomas™ and Sir Topham Hatt, exclusive merchandise, food and more! The fun returns April 25 and 26, and May 2 and 3, 2026. Site hours are 9 am to 5:30 pm on Saturdays and 9 am to 4:30 pm on Sundays. Tickets are $26-34. Bring your family and friends to the Purcellville Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, April 25 from noon to 7 p.m. rain or shine. This free, family-friendly event will be held at Fireman’s Field Park and inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink at 250 South Nursery Avenue.

Enjoy a full day of live music and performances across multiple stages, along with an art exhibit, games, chalk art, and a variety of interactive activities. Browse offerings from local vendors featuring handcrafted goods, food, beverages, and more. There will be fun for all ages, including face painting, glitter tattoos, sidewalk chalk art, and t-shirt or tote bag decorating. Local non-profits will also be on-site sharing information and resources. Special activities will highlight and celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence. 
Inside the Bush Tabernacle Skating Rink—transformed into the Art Hall—you’ll find more than 30 works of art, live performances, art demonstrations, and hands-on activities including quilt square decorating and an Instrument Petting Zoo. Be sure to pick up a festival scavenger hunt booklet and complete it for a chance to win a prize!

It is my honour to impart to you that this Author has been reliably informed that Tranquil Ashes, Our Queen Charlotte for this most auspicious occasion is inviting you to High Tea at Loyola University <a target="_blank" href="https://www.loyola.edu/department/event-conference-rentals/location-venues/evergreen-baltimore-campus/hug-lounge.html" rel="nofollow noopener">Hug Lounge and Refectory</a>.&nbsp;
Please do join us on the 25th of April in the year of our Queen, two-thousand and twenty six. It promises to be the most splendid social gathering of the season. So dust off those gowns and book an appointment with the modiste if you must, for the best dressed will receive a special gift from the Queen. There will be tea of course, accompanied by lite fare with music, dancing, games upon the lawn, a stroll through the gardens and a parting gift.&nbsp;
There will be two designated High Tea Times with activities on the lawn for those not currently attending either time slot:&nbsp;
Lady Danbury’s Tea Time: 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM&nbsp; 
Lady Bridgerton’s Tea Time: 3:00 - 5:00 PM
*Please note* THE EVENT IS FROM 12:00 to 5PM ( the tea times are designated for who you’d like to do the tea time activities with when meeting the Queen. Their specialty food items depends on which timeslot you pick. (So check out the menu!). So please arrive at 12PM for a full day of events no matter which tea slot you choose.
During tea with her majesty, you will be tested on your knowledge of the most scandalous and maybe some of the more salacious events of the past 4 social seasons. Do not disappoint her majesty by using any of your handheld light boxes, and one lucky person or group will win the Queen’s favor and be bestowed the illustrious Golden Bee Award!
With that in mind, please do arrive at twelve o’clock in the afternoon upon the grounds for a most elevated experience. But fear not dear reader, should there be another scandal at this lavish occasion, I shall uncover it.&nbsp;
