City of Baltimore: Charm'tastic Mile Unveils Its "Stay Hydrate'tastic" Summer '26 Slogan

May 17, 2026 - The "Charm'tastic Mile" of Baltimore (CTMB-1.3) www.thecharmtasticmile.com. The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. President & Fleet Street) that is now listed on Google search as one of the Top 10-15 Most Famous Streets in America is unveiling its "Stay Hydrate'tastic" Summer '26 campaign/slogan.

This past Thursday May 15th Mayor Brandon Scott and City Officials launched "Code Red Extreme Heat" Season for Charm City. Days when the heat index reach 105 degrees or higher a Code Red alert will issued by the Mayor.

The "Charm'tastic Mile" in support of Mayor Scott and the Baltimore City Health Department is launching it "Stay Hydrate'tastic" Summer '26 campaign to promote staying hydrated during the warmest-season of the year. Locals and visiting tourists who are downtown and walking along The "Charm'tastic Mile" should be hydrated with water (sports drink) to help prevent potential medical emergencies due to high-heat.

The Iconic 1.3 mile stretch-corridor of Dwtn-Charm City during its '26 campaign will be handing out logo 24 oz. durable water bottles to valet parkers, hotel bell staff and doorman that work outside during their work-shifts.

"When its extreme heat and a person has to work outside it can be challenging to stay hydrated. Having that water bottle with cold water of sports drink helps to keep the body cool and also helps to avoid cramping and becoming light-headed", says Derrick E Vaughan of The "Charm'tastic Mile".

Many of the hotels on or near The "Charm'tastic Mile" have lemon/lime water stations for guests arriving or coming from outside.

This past April 25th was the official 10th Anniversary (2016-26) of The "Charm'tastic Mile" being introduced to the City of Baltimore. The "Charm'tastic Mile" (4-25-2016) shares the same-day of introduction to the city as the majestic Domino Sugars neon sign (4-25-1951). April 25th marked the 75th Anniversary (1951-2026) of the Domino Sugars neon sign, an amazing landmark to the fabric and history of the city.
