In just 3-days Jaron "Boots" Ennis will enter the ring at Barclays Center vs Xander Zayas, it will be for Xander's 154 pound WBO & WBA Junior-middleweight titles. The big-fight has been given the headline title The "Reasonable BK Bout" created by The "Charm'tastic Mile". The headline title is honoring the 30th Anniversary (1996-2026) of hip-hop Icon Jay-Z and his debut album "Reasonable Doubt".

Tomorrow June 25th will mark the official 30th Anniversary date of the album release. Jay-Z is a huge boxing fan. 

Boots has a 35-0, 31 KOs record. He does have 1 no contest in his 36 professional fights. The June 27th showdown Saturday vs Zayas will be on the 38th Anniversary (6-27-1988) of the Mike Tyson vs Michael Spinks Super-Fight. The much-anticipated mega-bout was the talk of sports for the Spring of 1988. Basketball superstars Magic Johnson & Michael Jordan were in attendance along with 21,000 plus boxing fans. Magic was coming off winning his 5th and last NBA Championship with the Lakers. 

Jordan emerged as the NBA's biggest-star winning the league MVP, was named Defensive Player of the Year, All-Star Game MVP and won the Iconic '88 Slam Dunk Contest vs Dominique Wilkins. When Tyson destroyed Spinks in a mere 91 seconds to the amazement of everyone watching Mike left the ring at the pinnacle of his career with a record 35-0, 31 KO's the identical record of Boots Ennis, 38-years earlier to date. Tyson was only 3-days shy of his 22nd birthday (June 30). 

Boots, entering the ring at the Barclays Center will have a historical record linked to one of boxing's most well-known figures. On June 27, 1988 Mike Tyson was the "Baddest Man on the Planet".
