The chic & famed 1.3 mile corridor located in the heart of Charm City (Est.1975) that connects Dwtn-West, the Inner Harbor & Harbor East (S. Greene & W. Pratt Street to S. On July 13, 1993 the Baltimore Orioles & Charm City hosted the Annual Mid-Summer Classic at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. It was only the 2nd-year that "he Yard" had been open. It opened on April 6, 1992. Cal Ripken was the Ambassador for the O's and MLB.

The AL defeated the NL 9-3. Baltimore last hosted the All-Star Game on July 8, 1958 (35-years earlier) at Memorial Stadium. The stadium located on 33rd Street became the Orioles home stadium when the team arrived in the city in 1954.

They were previously the St Louis Browns.
