Cat On Field At Ravens Game Ends Dolphins Tailspin
A cat took to the field at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore during Thursday night football.

BALTIMORE, MD — With a score of 0-40 on the board and 1:56 left in the Ravens-Dolphins game Thursday night, it appeared the game was a wrap. Then a cat entered the frame.
"There's a cat on the field, Jim," CBS announcer Tony Romo said to sportscaster Jim Nantz in the booth.
"It's Halloween season," Nantz said.

The cat darted into a sea of Dolphins on the sideline, then dashed back onto the field. (See the video at the bottom of this story.)
"Look at this, Jim, this is like you ran in high school," Romo jested, noting the kitty's "perfect form" and "extension."

As CBS panned in on the tabby, Romo said: "Look at the change of direction, does it get both feet in right here at the end, Jim?"
And with that, the cat dashed off, but the curiosity stoked by the four-legged creature continued.
"Give Tony Romo an Emmy for this cat call," tweeted Jeff Eisenband, associate editor for sports media outlet The Post Game.
The Ravens posted a video of the cat on Facebook and Twitter, which lit up with spirited comments:
"Despite being undrafted and undersized, this small town cat showed that big city NFL dreams can come true," Aron Liang tweeted.
"Give that cat a contract," Jimmy Murray said.
"Cat looks like a natural running back," Jamal St. Lewis added.
"Ran better than the Phins did all night long," Willis Stalemate said.
"I think it distracted their QB..." Chavez Lashawn Swagga noted. "...I saw him looking over. The kitty helped us with the shut out."
A local rescue that helps thousands of homless animals in Baltimore also chimed in, with a suggestion.
"We think you should name the 4Q stray kitty 'Shutout,'" BARCS, the Baltimore Animal Rescue & Care Shelter tweeted, adding the hashtag #ravenscat.
The cat stayed overnight at the stadium after a Maryland Stadium Authority employee caught her following her prime-time appearance, according to the BaltimoreRavens.com, which reports she has since been adopted by Yogi, a stadium employee, who named her "Rae," short for "Ravens."
