City Of Baltimore To Discount Parking Fees Over The Holidays

BALTIMORE, MD — Mayor Jack Young Wednesday announced the city plans to offer free and reduced parking fees at select locations through the holiday season. The move, according to reports, is to support those who travel to Baltimore to do their holiday shopping.

Following Thanksgiving, on-street parking in Baltimore will be free Friday through Sunday, FOX 45 reports. Additionally, the Parking Authority of Baltimore City will offer discounted parking at ten city-owned garages on weekends between Nov. 30 and Jan. 19. Many of these garages are in or near Main Street areas.

  • In effect Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Rates are good for up to 24 hours of parking.
  • Garage discounts are available only through online reservations at BaltimoreParking.com.

  • Caroline Street, 805 S. Caroline St.
  • Fleet & Eden, 501 S. Eden St.
  • Baltimore Street, 15 Guilford Ave.
  • Market Center, 221 N. Paca St. (Closed Sunday)
  • Franklin Street, 15 W. Franklin St.
  • St. Paul Street, 200 St. Paul Pl.
  • Little Italy, 400 S. Central Ave.
  • Arena99, S. Howard St. (Arena event days only)
  • Penn Station, 1511 N. Charles St. (Ravens home game days only)
  • West Street, 40 E. West St. (Ravens home game days only)

Free parking will be available in Baltimore Main Street neighborhoods including Belair-Edison, East Monument Street, Federal Hill, Fell’s Point, Hamilton-Lauraville, Highlandtown, Pennsylvania Avenue, Pigtown and Waverly. Free parking will be in effect this Friday through Sunday only.
