Coastal Flood Advisory In Effect For Baltimore
BREAKING: Flooding is possible in parts of Baltimore on Tuesday, the weather service advises.

BALTIMORE, MD — A coastal flood advisory is in effect for Baltimore until 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30, according to the National Weather Service.
Tides are expected to be a foot above normal. Flooding is anticipated at the end of Thames Street, and water will likely saturate the area of the Promenade near the Inner Habor dragon boats.
Flooding is possible within hours of high tide. The most recent high tide was at 11:11 a.m. on Tuesday at Fort McHenry, according to the National Weather Service.

A coastal flood advisory means that winds and tides may combine to create flooding at low-lying points along the shore.
In addition to the potential for flooding, weather officials said that there may be isolated severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and large hail Tuesday afternoon and evening.
