Coastal Flood Advisory Issued For Baltimore Area
BREAKING: Tides may be higher than normal, leading to flooding in parts of Baltimore County and Baltimore City, weather officials advise.

BALTIMORE, MD - The National Weather Service has issued a coastal flood advisory for Baltimore City and Baltimore County, effective Sunday night until Monday morning.
Tides may be up to 1.5 feet above normal and flooding is possible in several areas, the advisory states.
A coastal flood advisory means that low areas along the shore will flood due to a combination of winds and tides.

The coastal flood advisory is in effect from 11 p.m. on Sunday, July 30, to 4 a.m. on Monday, July 31.
The next high tide is projected to hit between 1:53 and 3:10 a.m. on Monday, July 31, officials said.

Flooding is expected in the following locations, according to the National Weather Service:
- End of Thames Street
- Inner Harbor Promenade at Dragon Boat dock
- Bowleys Quarters
