Coldwell Banker Donates 27 Tons of Food to Area Pantries
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Mid-Atlantic collected food for local food assistance programs.
Ellicott City, MD (June 6, 2017) – Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Mid-Atlantic collected 27 tons of food for local food assistance programs as part of its 2017 Healthy Food Week Drive.
This sixth annual food drive was held April 28 to May 7 and worked to help local pantries cope with decrease in donations over the summer months.
The event encourages agents, staff and members of the public to donate food items at each of the brokerage’s 30 offices throughout the Baltimore-Washington area. The items collected are then given to organizations picked by each office.

Coldwell Banker’s Timonium Office collected 13,126 pounds of food, all of which was donated to the Hereford Food Bank, My Sister’s Place, Franciscan Center and Prologue.
“Coldwell Banker has been an active participant in local food drives because we believe in making valuable contributions back into our communities who support our real estate business. Our goal was to collect healthy food for those who live in ‘food desert’ areas around the Baltimore area where healthy, affordable food is difficult to buy. I am happy that our efforts can help those in need,” said Patty Kallymer, branch vice president of the Timonium office.
