In certain parts of Africa, this is the color to murder for!

Albino's are murdered on a regular basis because of their skin color. Never out of prejudice. But for gain and profits. They are murdered for their body parts.

In certain parts of Africa, this is the color to murder for!

The lucky ones that manage to get away are mutilated. One should not really call it lucky...but when you look at the alternative...we shall call it, "very lucky!"

How horrendous to live in a country where you know because of your skin color your chances of being murdered is 100%! Your chances of being mutilated is100%!

And no these types of murder and mutilations are not because of prejudice. It is a business. A big business. The selling of body parts of Albino's is big business in Africa! This trade flourishes mainly in Tanzania. Murder and mutilation of albinos is big business. Body parts can go for as high as $10,000. Graves are even desecrated for Albino body parts.

Even the graves little babies, infants are not exempt from the carnage of the Albino Hunters!

("Some Africans even believe that the witchcraft ritual is more powerful if the victim screams during the amputation, so body parts are often cut from live victims, especially children," the report says. "The use of children is likely linked to the pursuit of innocence, which, it is believed, enhances the potency of the witchcraft ritual."

"In most of the cases documented, the attacks involved dismembering the victim's limbs and resulted in death," the report said. "In a few other cases, the victims were beheaded; genitals, ears, and bits of skin were removed; tongues were cut out and the eyes and the heart gouged out."

Some miners from the region are known to use albino body parts as talismans, burying them where they're drilling for gold, while some fishermen weave albino hair into their nets. "The buyers of albino body parts are people who need wealth—they believe it's an easy way to be rich," says Al-Shaymaa J. Kwegyir, Tanzania's first albino MP. Some believe that the murders and mutilation of Albinos are fueled by the money. They summarize that only businessmen and politicians can afford to pay $10,000 0r more for body parts that are used in potions, spells, and voodoo-magic! The villagers certainly cannot afford such steep prices. Most do not even have the luxury of electricity much less $10,000...or even $1,000 for these ritualist abominable acts.

Some even believe that the police are in on the mutilations and murders. As one victim stated. men came to her house dressed as policemen looking for her. Thank goodness her husband was there. It didn't matter, though...because they still tried to cart her off. Well, she was lucky because her husband was at home.

It has also been stated that they come at night to villages that have no electricity...after having watched the targeted victim during the day. Or maybe for days on end! It is reported that most of it is happening in East Africa...mainly Tanzania. This is a no win situation for the Albinos born in Africa. They may develop blindness, cancer, and other skin diseases at a very early age because they do not have the genes to produce Melanin. Both parents must care the genes that cause Albinism. And if they do have albinism...then they are automatically marked for death! No exception. None!

They are born...with a death sentence hanging over their heads! And if they are not murdered or mutilated...then they face a life of blindness...and finally..."the coup' de gras," skin cancer!
