I-895 Reopens North Of Harbor Tunnel, Officials Say

BALTIMORE, MD — Traffic was snarled on Interstate 895 Monday afternoon due to a crash, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority. The delays lasted for hours.

Officials said the collision involved two vehicles and occurred around 3:45 p.m.

Emergency medical services personnel were called to the scene and had departed by 4:30 p.m., authorities reported.

I-895 north remained blocked near Boston Street until after 5 p.m.

The Maryland Transportation Authority reported I-895 north had reopened by 5:15 p.m.
