Eric Wyss Joins Heritage Finacial Consultants, LLC

Heritage Financial Consultants, LLC announced that Eric Wyss, former M&T Bank Vice President and Senior Wealth Strategist, will be joining the company as Director of Financial Planning & Risk Management.

In this role, Wyss will be responsible for leading Heritage Financial Consultants' Advisors as they work to positively impact their clients' lives through education, service and diligently executed innovative financial solutions. Wyss will serve as a financial planning specialist, guiding clients' comprehensive financial plans, as well as identifying potential risks and implementing processes and procedures to ensure clients are fully prepared to deal with any potential risks.

Wyss has served as a trusted advisor for families for over 12 years, providing the highest level of consulting expertise in financial, tax and estate planning since he began working with clients in 2006. While at M&T Bank, Wyss served as Vice President in the Finance Division, later transitioning to Senior Wealth Strategist and National Director of Retirement Planning & Director of Planning for Southeast PA.

A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional (CFP® professional), Wyss earned his MBA, with a focus in Finance & Strategy, from Carnegie Mellon University and a Mechanical Engineering degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He obtained many other accreditations including becoming an Accredited Estate Planner, Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and Chartered Life Underwriter.

Wyss is also committed to serving his community. As a former Navy submarine officer, Wyss recognizes the importance of serving our country's veterans and volunteers his time with The Baltimore Station: Homeless & Addicted Veterans, a program that provides veterans who are experiencing homelessness and addiction with an opportunity to turn their lives around. Wyss lives in Hunt Valley with his wife Hillary and three children.
