Fawn Found Tied To Tree In Baltimore: Authorities
Natural Resources Police are asking citizens to leave wildlife alone after a baby deer was found tied to a tree in Northeast Baltimore.

NORTHEAST BALTIMORE, MD — Maryland Natural Resources Police rescued a baby deer on Friday after it was found tied to a tree. Officials are telling citizens to leave wildlife alone.
According to the Baltimore Sun, a neighbor called police after some kids found the fawn. Police couldn't reunite the fawn with its mother because they didn't know where the fawn was bedded down, the Sun reports.
The fawn was found in the Armistead Gardens neighborhood in Northeast Baltimore.

Natural Resources Police are reminding citizens that "Mom usually isn't far away," so leave the fawns alone.

The NRP said since they can't find the fawn's mother, it's being taken to the Phoenix Wildlife Center.
