First Baby Of 2019 In Baltimore Is Named 'Snow'
The first baby of the new year is here, and she was born at 12:02 a.m. on Jan. 1, 2019.

BALTIMORE, MD — Two minutes into the new year, "Snow" arrived in Maryland. A baby named "Snow," that is.
Snow Violet Taylor was born at 12:02 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1. She arrived in the world weighing 6 pounds and 13 oz, according to MedStar Harbor Hospital, where she was delivered.
"We got Snow!" said the new baby's father, Donovan Taylor, after the child was born. In an unusual turn of events, the weather in Baltimore was actually in the 60s.

"I like unique names," he told WBAL, explaining that they decided upon learning her due date was Dec. 30 that they would call her Snow.

Mom Chavon Wethington was in labor for two days before getting a cesarean section, according to ABC 2 News.
"She's going to be strong-willed," Wethington, who lives in Catonsville, said of her new baby girl.
Snow is the first child for Chavon and Donovan, according to MedStar, which said she was also the first of approximately 1,200 babies born at Harbor Hospital each year.
