Former Ravens Star Terrell Suggs Faces Trial In AZ Case: Report
Terrell Suggs was indicted in Arizona after police said he pulled a gun and threatened to kill a man at a Scottsdale Starbucks in March.

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — Former Baltimore Ravens star pass rusher Terrell Suggs has been indicted on two charges after authorities said he threatened to kill another man and pulled a gun on him at a Starbucks drive-thru in Arizona, according to reports.
Suggs, 41, was charged with felony disorderly conduct involving a weapon and misdemeanor intimidation, according to a Baltimore Sun report citing court documents.
A pretrial conference has been scheduled for June 12 in Maricopa County, court records show. Sugg's trial date is set for Sept. 19.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ and the Baltimore Banner, authorities said Suggs pulled too far past the drive-thru ordering speaker. When he backed up, he struck another man's vehicle.
Police said there was no damage to either car, but an argument ensued between the two men, according to court documents. As Suggs got into his car and left, reports said he flipped off the man and called him a "cracker" and stated, "I’ll kill your b---- a--."
As Suggs was leaving the drive-thru, court documents obtained by the Banner said he reached his arm through the window and showed the other man a handgun.
In a statement sent to TMZ, a representative for Suggs said he "wasn't looking for trouble" and feared for his safety during the incident.
"When the man in the other vehicle escalated the situation, I feared for my safety not knowing what his intentions were," the statement from Suggs said. "Throughout the incident, I was the one who felt in danger, while fearing I would be followed home and for the safety of my family nearby at my residence."
Suggs played in Baltimore from 2003-2018 and was inducted last season into the team’s Ring of Honor. He led the team in career sacks and was named to seven Pro Bowls with the Ravens. He finished his career with the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City, winning a Super Bowl title with the Chiefs.
According to the Banner, he was charged with felony aggravated assault in 2003 but was later acquitted. In 2012, he was also accused of punching and dragging his girlfriend beside his car. A restraining order was placed against Suggs but later dismissed, the Banner reported.
