The Four Seasons first became internationally successful during the 1960s and 70s, and have been known at times as Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. They were one of only two American bands (along with the Beach Boys) to capture success on every major chart before, during and after the British Invasion.

The band's original lineup was inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990, and joined the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. They have sold an estimated 100 million records worldwide.
