Funeral Honors Slain MTA Bus Driver Marcus Parks Sr.

Family, friends and colleagues said their final goodbyes to the 51-year-old who police said was killed by a couple over a bus payment.

BALTIMORE , MD — A funeral was held Saturday for slain MTA bus driver Marcus Parks Sr. Family, friends and colleagues gathered at Israel Baptist Church to say their final goodbyes to the 51-year-old who was shot and killed during a confrontation on the MTA bus he operated last Thursday.

“He always had a positive word, always a positive word, and he’s going to be very, very well missed,” Connie Palmer, a friend of Parks, said.
