Garth Brooks To Play In Baltimore: Concert Date, Ticket Info

This fall M&T Bank Stadium will turn into a concert venue for a country star.

BALTIMORE, MD — Country star Garth Brooks will make a tour stop in Baltimore, and everyone from the city's football team to the Maryland governor is celebrating the announcement.

The Baltimore Ravens shared the news Wednesday that Brooks will be playing at M&T Bank Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 2.

"The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour, presented by Amazon Music, is bringing the No. 1 selling solo artist in U.S. history to Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium for the first time," the Ravens said in a statement, noting the concert will be held rain or shine.

When Brooks was set to perform in Charm City in 2016, his tour stop was at Royal Farms Arena, where he set a record in 2015 for playing five shows there.

Among those cheering the return of the star to Baltimore was the governor.

"We are very excited to welcome @GarthBrooks to Maryland this October at M&T Bank Stadium!" Gov. Larry Hogan said in a statement Wednesday.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 23, through Ticketmaster. People can buy them online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks; by calling the Garth Brooks Ticketmaster line at 1-877-654-2784; or by using the Ticketmaster app.

Garth Brooks will perform at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2. Tickets are $94.95.


The day after the show, the Ravens will be in Denver taking on the Broncos at Mile High Stadium.

The Ravens will host the team's home opener at the stadium on Russell Street Sunday, Sept. 19, against the Kansas City Chiefs.
