Harry Potter Convention Coming To Baltimore

Charm City will turn into Hogwarts in the weeks ahead.

BALTIMORE, MD - There may be wizardry going on around the Inner Harbor next month. A Harry Potter convention is coming to the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace from Sept. 8 to Sept. 10.

Everything from autograph sessions with the actors to courses like wand-making are planned at "PotterVerse." A costume parade is also among the activities at the convention, which is a three-day affair designed for fans of the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. It is not affiliated with Warner Brothers or Rowling but is created for fans by fans. See the program for the complete list of events.

Some of those who worked on creating the Harry Potter films will be in attendance, including cast members Natalia Tena (Nymphadora Tonks), Devon Murray (Seamus Finnigan), Chris Rankin (Percy Weasley) and Sean Biggerstaff (Gryffindor Quiddich Captain Oliver Wood), according to Onezumi Events, the organizer.
