Heavy Traffic Expected Around Ravens Game Monday

Expect increased pedestrian and vehicular traffic in downtown Baltimore Monday. Towing will be enforced for parking regulation violators.

BALTIMORE, MD — There will be increased traffic Monday night in downtown Baltimore due to the Ravens-Texans game. The NFL event is expected to result in an influx of pedestrians around M&T Bank Stadium.

Drivers should be on the lookout for those on foot, and if possible avoid the area.

Fans who are driving to the stadium for the game should park in commercial lots.

Those looking to park near the stadium should avoid neighborhoods, transportation officials say. Residential permit parking regulations will be strictly enforced, according to officials. Violators will be ticketed and towed to 410 Fallsway; call 410-396-4613 or 311 to locate a vehicle that has been towed.

Traffic enforcement officers will be out in force for the event, according to the Baltimore City Department of Transportation. The game starts at 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 27.

Going to the game but don't have stadium parking permits? Officials advise taking public transportation such as the metro subway, light rail, park and ride express bus services and the Charm City Circulator. Check the MTA for information about public transit.
