Help Ease the Holidays for Cancer Patients at Hope Lodge Baltimore

Support the American Cancer Society free home away from home for cancer patients who need to travel long distance for their treatment

The holidays can be especially difficult for cancer patients who need to be far away from home and their loved ones during the holidays– supplies, gifts, meals, and monetary donations to support the operations of Hope Lodge are appreciated! Seeking volunteer groups to host activities and dinners too!

New Giving Site makes donating easy: www.cancer.org/hopelodgebaltim... and there's an Amazon wish list for helpful supplies like detergent, paper goods, K-cups, and more to alleviate the cost of running Hope Lodge.

WHAT: The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge Baltimore provides free lodging for cancer patients and caregivers who travel long distance to Baltimore for lifesaving cancer care that often takes weeks or months of outpatient treatment. Hope Lodge features private guest rooms and common great room, dining room, kitchen and laundry facilities. With hotel rooms costing around $190 a night, the average guest savings for lodging is $9,000. More than that, Hope Lodge provides a supportive community. Guests can prepare their own meals, saving on dining costs, and many volunteer groups serve meals and provide entertainment.
