Heritage Financial Consultants, LLC Lands Nasser Ali As New Director Of Investment Management to enhances client resources

Heritage Financial Consultants, LLC today announced that Nasser Ali, CFA®, CAIA, CFP®, AAMS®, CMFC®, CRPC®, has joined the company as the Director of Investment Management. Nasser will be based out of the company’s headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD while serving clients in all 7 of the company’s locations with stellar investment management support and guidance.

In his role as Director of Investment Management, Nasser will enhance the investment elements of the planning process and bring more direct oversight of the firm’s portfolio model designs and due diligence process while enhancing strategic investment opportunities.

His knowledge of investment management including portfolio design and management, econometric modeling, capital market research, security analysis, manager and product due diligence, and trading are unparalleled in the industry. “We have known Nasser for many years through his work at Lincoln Financial Advisors (LFA),” said John McCarthy, Partner, Heritage Financial Consultants. “He is a significant hire for Heritage, we are thrilled to have someone of his caliber continue to enhance our due diligence process and oversee our portfolio models and fund manager selection process. Nasser joined Lincoln Financial Advisors in 2002 and has managed various roles including the oversight of investment planning. Nasser was part of LFA’s Investment Strategy Group and a member of LFA’s Investment Policy Committee, Steering List committee and Product Review Committee. Prior to LFA, Nasser served as portfolio manager, analyst and additional investment related positions at Legg Mason and Calvert Funds. Nasser currently resides in Reisterstown, Maryland with his wife, Carolyn, daughter, Erin, and son, Tucker. Nasser is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland College Park.
