Horseshoe Casino Donating To Ellicott City Flood Relief

BALTIMORE, MD — The Horseshoe Casino will donate money from drink sales on Wednesday to Ellicott City disaster relief efforts. A portion of all drinks sold at 14Forty, the multi-level bar at the center of the casino, will go to Howard County Government's Relief Fund, officials announced on Wednesday.

Between 12:01 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore will donate $2 for every drink sold at 14Forty.

From 7 p.m to midnight, the casino will donate $3 for every drink sold.

“It is absolutely devastating to see the destruction that took place in Ellicott City and its surrounding areas on Sunday,” Caesars Regional President and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore General Manager Erin Chamberlin said in a statement.

"We hope that the money we are able to raise will go a long way toward helping those that have been affected by this tragedy," Chamberlin said.

Horseshoe Casino and 14Forty are at 1525 Russell Street in Baltimore.
