Horseshoe Casino Donating To Ellicott City Flood Relief

Drink for a good cause; the Horseshoe Casino is donating money from drink sales to Ellicott City relief efforts.

BALTIMORE, MD โ€” The Horseshoe Casino will donate money from drink sales on Wednesday to Ellicott City disaster relief efforts. A portion of all drinks sold at 14Forty, the multi-level bar at the center of the casino, will go to Howard County Government's Relief Fund, officials announced on Wednesday.

Between 12:01 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, Horseshoe Casino Baltimore will donate $2 for every drink sold at 14Forty.

From 7 p.m to midnight, the casino will donate $3 for every drink sold.

โ€œIt is absolutely devastating to see the destruction that took place in Ellicott City and its surrounding areas on Sunday,โ€ Caesars Regional President and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore General Manager Erin Chamberlin said in a statement.

"We hope that the money we are able to raise will go a long way toward helping those that have been affected by this tragedy," Chamberlin said.
