I-895 Shooting Victim Hospitalized, Witnesses Wanted: Police
Officers responding to a call for an injured driver on Interstate 895 said they found he had been shot.

BALTIMORE, MD — Officers are investigating a shooting Monday evening that injured a driver who police said was found on Interstate 895. Authorities have asked for any witnesses to come forward.
Police said that at 5:44 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority was called for an injured person on I-895 south near the exit for Potee Street.
Officers provided aid to the driver when they arrived and found he had been shot, police said. The victim was taken to an area hospital with injuries that are believed to be non-life-threatening, according to officials.

Anyone who may have witnessed the shooting is asked to call the Maryland Transportation Authority Police's Tunnel Command Detachment at 410-537-1208.
