Man Accused Of Setting Fire Outside Jewish Museum Of Maryland
A 66-year-old man was arrested Saturday after he set fire to the museum in an apparent hate crime, police said.

BALTIMORE, MD — A man accused of setting a fire outside the Jewish Museum of Maryland was arrested by Baltimore authorities Saturday morning.
According to a Baltimore Police Department news release, authorities arrested the 66-year-old man after he set the fire Sunday night outside the museum located at Lloyd and Watson Streets. It's unclear what charges he will face, but police described the incident as a "hate crime."
A Baltimore Banner report identified the man as Assadollah Hashemi. According to police, he has a history of fire-related crimes.

Police arrested Hashemi at his home in the 700 block of Druid Park Lake Drive after obtaining a warrant on Friday, authorities said.
Hashemi was taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged accordingly, police said.
