Boyfriend in Custody After Missing Woman Found Dead in Park: Baltimore Police
Police said Marco Holmes has been detained on a charge unrelated to the death of his girlfriend, Tonja Chadwick.

BALTIMORE, MD — The boyfriend of murder victim Tonja Chadwick was taken into custody for a violation of probation, police reported Wednesday. The arrest was not related to the disappearance of Chadwick.
Marco Holmes, 22, had been sought as a person of interest in connection with the death of Chadwick, his girlfriend. She was last seen on Jan. 28, and he had not been seen since then either. Her body was found last Thursday in a park in southwestern Baltimore.
At a home in northeast Baltimore, members of the Baltimore Police Department's warrant apprehension task force took Holmes into custody Wednesday morning through a "combination of great detective work and tips," police said in a statement.
