Maryland Masons Host Third Annual Lunch for Homeless Veterans
Lunch for homeless vets held at Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge in Baltimore
This holiday season, the Maryland Masons Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge partnered with several area organizations to host their Third Annual Lunch for Homeless Veterans. More than 300 homeless vets were served a full turkey dinner provided by Stratford University. The Masons also hosted organizations that distributed information and provided services for veterans, including haircuts from Benny da Barber. Turkey Hill Farms and Schmidt’s Baking were some of the lunch’s donors. MTA also provided vouchers for vets to attend the event, held at the Most Worshipful Prince Hall Grand Lodge on Eutaw Place.
Other organizations that made the lunch possible include Boots 2 Heels, Inc.; Baltimore City Veterans Commission; NABVETS; Disabled American Veterans; AARP and more.
