Mayor Catherine Pugh Hospitalized: Report

BALTIMORE, MD — Baltimore Mayor Catherine Pugh was reportedly admitted Sunday night to Johns Hopkins Hospital. The mayor was being kept at the hospital so doctors could keep an eye on her condition after she came down with pneumonia, The Baltimore Sun reported.

Pneumonia, which is a lung infection, can put those over 65 at risk. The mayor is 69 years old.

Pugh, who was directed to rest, has canceled all public appearances until she recovers, according to WJZ.
