Mayoral Campaign

Sitting on the fence

I was contemplating a run for Mayor of this great City. I am a native Baltimorean and my family has lived in Southeast Baltimore for almost 70 years.

I currently live in the City and changed my party affiliation in 2016. I have lived through many Mayoral administrations. The recent past, since Schaeffer, had been disasterous, including O'Malley, especially O'Malley.

I see no viable candidate leading into the election. Let me be gracious and try to be "politically" correct.

Incumbent Mayor Young had been smoking something and it is not a cigar!!! For him to say, "Let's get the gangs to the Royal Farms Arena and settle this like we did in the past......".

This infers a couple of things, to me. One, boxing or fighting to settle disputes is an acceptable way to behave. Really???? Two, let's take a chance and destroy the only "center" Baltimore had for major events. Three, let's convey to the US and the tourism trade that Baltimore is a old, 50 years in the past type of city condoning violence. I am going to stop there, total insanity. Put the blunt down Mr. Young.

The former Mayor Dixon. Oh Sheila ( reminds me of a Prince song). Let's forgive her for spending gift cards which could have been used by constituents to take their family to the Royal Farms Arena to see Ringling Brothers/Barnum Bailey Circus. Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know it was for constituents. Bullcrap (there is the Royal Farms Arena connection, again. Do I see a pattern????).

Brandon Scott. Well, wet under the ears Brandon Scott. Don't know a lot about him but thank you for publishing the Crime Stat results (another pattern: violence).

Anyone else want to throw their hat in the ring. It is a very lucarative job. Many people have gotten rich, ask Mrs. Blake-Rawlings or Mrs. Pugh.

Baltimore City needs help, and none of these people are the answer. If I were to run there are a couple of things I would do on the front end. One, allow liscense for "conceal and carry" permis in Baltimore City only. It would increase city revenues for infrastructure improvements and hiring of more DPW workers. Mr. Chow had to go, see ya. His 2018 Annual report was a joke. 3 billion dollar budget???? What work is getting done? West Baltimore looks like war zone. Thank God for Hopkins in East Baltimore.

Oh, let's not let Hopkins have it's own police force, Why not? University of Maryland does. Oh, that's right. They were lining Pugh's pockets with "Happy Holly" money. Darn, forgot.

Squegee kids, sign people, hackers, panhandles and drug dealers. Sure, they can trade their wares but they will have to secure a peddler's liscense that has to be worn around the neck and taxes must be paid on all income. There will be a minimal fee for the liscense and replacements will be inexpensive. Not wearing liscense? Loitering, ticket, increase revenue. Don't pay ticket, no liscense. No liscense, loitering. Three loiterings, 10 days in CBIF and community service, mandatory.

Three, immediate outside audit of every City agency, especially DPW, Education and police force.

Oh, police force. Four, DOJ report had to be rectified to the DOJs satisfaction, if not. Harrison must go, along with all upper administration positions: Majors, Lieutenants, Shift Commanders, all pertinent positions. No satisfaction? No pension, period. The carnage had to stop and it starts at the top. Sorry. Cushy job, huh?

I have been told that District Commanders are insisting on mandatory overtime, at s Royal Farms store in your community. Moral has gotten so low that the officers, who want to clean up the streets are contemplating changing jobs. Something is wrong. Systemically.

In closing

Mayor Pugh won her campaign with 48,000 votes. That is 10% of the population. Go on my GoFundMe page.snd donate a dollar so I can buy flyers, yard signs and other materials to fight the do-nothing political Democratic engine that is destroying Baltimore

Let's Make Baltimore Great Again!

Vote for Stan Orner. The new Mayor of Baltimore. Change is coming and the name is Orner.

I have approved this message. Citizens for Orner.
