New Year's Eve 2019 Weather, Fireworks Forecast For Maryland

BALTIMORE, MD — After a Monday that feels more like spring than winter, things will cool down for New Year's Eve as Maryland residents count down to 2020. Whether you're watching fireworks in Baltimore or Annapolis, the duck drop in Havre de Grace or cruising the Inner Harbor, the National Weather Service said the weather shouldn't hamper your plans to celebrate

Monday's temperatures flirted with 60 degrees as rain tampered off. New Year's Eve on Tuesday will be partly sunny, but the high is expected to be 51 degrees with wind gusts as high as 20 mph in the Baltimore region. The low temperature on New Year's Eve is expected to drop to 35 degrees at night with partly cloudy conditions.

New Year's Day should be mostly sunny, with a high near 45. Winds will continue to gust up to 22 mph, the NWS predicts. Rain isn't projected until Thursday night.
