Baltimore Native Awarded Scholarship through Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Power & Energy Society
Greg Tolj was one of five at Northeastern University to receive a scholarship through the IEEE PES Scholarship Plus Initiative.

Greg Tolj, a sophomore at Northeastern University’s College of Engineering, was one of five Northeastern students who received a scholarship through the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Power & Energy Society Scholarship Plus Initiative for the 2016-2017 academic year.
The scholarship was awarded to 230 undergraduate students studying electrical engineering with strong GPAs, unique extracurricular experience, and a commitment to furthering their academic performance and involvement in the fields of power and energy engineering. Since the summer of 2014, Tolj has worked for TiePoint-bkm Engineering in Baltimore, MD, to analyze and design power distribution systems for corporate mission-critical data center facilities.
A Baltimore, MD, native, Tolj is majoring in electrical engineering and expects to graduate in 2020.
