Orioles Game To Cause Traffic Delays On Opening Day 2019
It's Opening Day in Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and transportation officials issued a traffic advisory for Thursday, April 4.

BALTIMORE, MD — There may be delays for afternoon commuters in downtown Baltimore on Thursday, April 4. Heavy traffic is anticipated around the home opener for the Baltimore Orioles, which is set for 3:05 p.m. at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
Drivers should be on the lookout for pedestrians, particularly around crosswalks. Transportation enforcement officers will be posted to assist with the flow of traffic at key intersections by the stadium, city officials said.
Residential parking permit regulations will be strictly enforced in the vicinity of the stadium, according to Baltimore City's Department of Transportation. Those in violation may be ticketed and towed. If a vehicle is towed, call 311 to get information about where to find it.

Garages will likely be full of monthly permit holders since the opener is on a weekday, so parking downtown may be limited. Officials advised seeking out commercial parking garages north of the stadium or using public transportation.
The Metro Subway, Light Rail, Park and Ride express bus services and the Charm City Circulator all provide access to the game, officials said.
