Preakness 2017 InfieldFest Lineup: Sam Hunt To Headline

Country star Sam Hunt will perform at the Budweiser InfieldFest; concerts featuring rock bands and pop-country singers are also on tap.

BALTIMORE, MD — The Preakness is a little more than two months away, and organizers just announced the lineup for the infield entertainment.

Country singer Sam Hunt will headline the Budweiser InfieldFest at the Preakness, which is May 20 at Pimlico. Hunt is known for hits like "Break Up in a Small Town" and "Leave the Night On."

Good Charlotte, a rock band that formed in Maryland, will take to the DeKuyper Stage.

LOCASH, a country pop duo that includes Baltimore native Chris Lucas, will also perform, and so will Canadian pop-country act High Valley.

“This concert is for the fans, and we are excited to share such a talented lineup with our guests,” said Belinda Stronach, president/chair of the Stronach Group, which is coordinating the Budweiser InfieldFest along with entertainment promotion company I.M.P.

The 142nd Preakness Stakes and Budweiser InfieldFest are expected to attract more than 130,000 fans, according to a statement from the Preakness organizers.

At last year's InfieldFest, the Chainsmokers and Fetty Wap headlined.
