Rail Worker Killed In Baltimore: NTSB

An employee of Norfolk Southern died Thursday, prompting a federal investigation.

BALTIMORE, MD — A Norfolk Southern worker was killed Thursday in Baltimore, according to the National Transportation Safety Board. The federal agency reported Thursday afternoon that it was sending investigators to Baltimore to look into the case.

The employee of the railroad company had been working on switching cars at the Bayview Rail Yard at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, according to Fox 45.
