Record Temperatures Reached In Baltimore On May 2
The temperature broke a record in Baltimore on Wednesday, May 2.

BALTIMORE, MD – It felt like summer on Wednesday across the region, with unseasonably warm weather. In fact, it was record-breaking in both Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
Baltimore hit 90 degrees on Wednesday afternoon, breaking the old record temperature of 88 degrees set in 1951, according to the National Weather Service. Baltimore Washington International Airport reached that temp at 2 p.m. and the mercury continued rising.
Charm City was not the only one making history. Washington National set a record high of 91 degrees, a few notches above the previous 89-degree record set on May 2, 1951, weather officials reported.
