Roland Park Place resident inducted into Maryland Senior Citizen's Hall of Fame

Roland Park Place resident Robert Greenfield was inducted into the Maryland Senior Citizen Hall of Fame for his continued volunteer work in Baltimore City. At 92, Greenfield is a teacher at the Renaissance Academy, a driver for Meals on Wheels and an advocate for the Maryland Humane Society’s Legacy Program which finds homes for animals for senior residents who pass away.
Out of 49 inductees into the hall of fame for 2016 across Maryland, Greenfield was also the recipient of the hall of fame’s “Geri” award, which goes to five inductees who have gone “above and beyond” the help give back in their community.
“Mr. Greenfield is a gentle soul who never boasts, but stands happily in the background, proud to help those in need. He is a leading example of what is means to be a volunteer and to be selfless. He makes working at Roland Park Place a bright spot in my day.” ~Marie Tassone, Roland Park Place Activities Coordinator.
