Take Cover: Severe Thunderstorm Warning In Effect For 3 Counties, City
BREAKING: The National Weather Service advises there are 60 mph winds and people should stay inside and not drive under trees if outside.

A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for parts of Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Harford counties, according to the National Weather Service.
The warning continues until 2:45 p.m. and calls for wind gusts of 60 mph.
At 2:04 p.m., weather officials said a line of severe thunderstorms was moving east at 60 mph from Delta to Kingsville to Lake Shore.

People are advised to take cover, as trees and branches may fall due to wind. Drivers should not pass under trees. Those inside should move into an interior room on the lowest floor if trees are nearby.
Power outages are possible, roads may become blocked and unsecured objects outside may become airborne.

Locations impacted by the severe thunderstorm warning include Baltimore, Severn, Pikesville, Middle River, Cockeysville, Aberdeen, Havre de Grace, Riviera Beach, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Baltimore-Washington Airport, Fort Smallwood State Park, Gibson Island, Sillery Bay, Millers Island, North Point State Park, Sparrows Point, Pinehurst, Bodkin Point, Back River and Glen Burnie, according to the National Weather Service.
