Voting Extended At 3 Precincts In Baltimore: Board Of Elections
BREAKING: A delayed opening at one polling place led election officials to extend hours there for the primary and withhold early results.

BALTIMORE, MD — Due to late openings, election officials say that polls at three precincts will stay open until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26. All other polls closed at 8 p.m. across the state.
The precincts are all at the Baltimore IT Academy in the 900 block of Woodbourne Avenue.
Workers at the polls did not open until around 9 a.m. for the primary because they could not get into a secure room that housed the voting equipment and supplies, election officials reported Tuesday evening.

Those who vote from 8 to 9 p.m. must use provisional ballots, which officials say are required under federal law in the event that the order extending voting hours is overturned.
All results from early voting will be held until voting ends at 9 p.m. in these three precincts in Baltimore, election officials advise.
It was the second hiccup for voters at Baltimore polls on primary election day. Another polling place, this one in south Baltimore, had to close and direct voters to another location.
