SECU Hires Senior Manager, Business Development Officer Leader

Cavallaro To Lead Credit Union's Business Development Efforts

SECU, Maryland’s leading credit union, has hired Christopher Cavallaro as a Senior Manager, Business Development Officer Leader. A retail and small business banking veteran, Cavallaro will support SECU’s Business Development Officers to strengthen member connections and cultivate new relationships with small businesses and consumers.

He has 18 years of industry experience and most recently served as a Business Banking Relationship Manager at M&T Bank. In 2015, he was recognized by the Maryland Banker’s Association as a Next Leader in Banking.

“We are excited to welcome Chris to the SECU family,” said Michele Moore, VP Branch Banking at SECU. “His experience in small business banking partnered with his dedication to the community is a strong fit for our goal to support local businesses and strengthen relationships with members.”

In addition to his role at SECU, Cavallaro is active in the community. He serves as a Director on the Towson University Foundation Board, which manages an endowment for the benefit and promotion of the University. He is also a “Wingman” with Athletes Serving Athletes, an organization that enables individuals with disabilities to experience the competition and gratification of running races from 5ks to full marathons.

A Maryland native and graduate of Towson University, Cavallaro resides in Baltimore County with his wife, Carol.
