Tanker Driver Identified in Deadly I-95 Explosion in Baltimore
Officials said the tanker driver was a 31-year-old Baltimore man who died in Saturday's crash.

BALTIMORE, MD — The tanker truck driver killed in a crash on Interstate 95 Saturday near Caton Avenue has been identified as a Baltimore man, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority Police.
Clinton Lamont Worrell Jr., 31, had been driving a tanker truck owned by Carroll Fuel that was involved in a major crash Saturday morning, police reported.
He was one of three people who died Saturday on I-95 in Baltimore while the road was icy from freezing rain.

Worrell was described as an "outstanding employee" who will be "sorely missed," according to a statement from Carroll Fuel.
A GoFundMe page has raised more than $8,000 this week for Worrell's family.

Police said there were 68 vehicles involved in a massive pileup Saturday on the highway, which was closed for more than 12 hours to northbound traffic as a result of the collisions. As of Friday, police said that a number of the vehicles remained unclaimed.
Anyone who was driving or riding in the vehicles is asked to contact the Maryland Transportation Authority Police at at 410-537-1208.
Officials are interested in interviewing witnesses, passengers and drivers about the crash.
