TV Personality Chardelle Moore to Host, Guest Narrate Hamer Event
Moore will steer audiences through selected scenes and songs for the Baltimore staging of the acclaimed musical about Fannie Lou Hamer

Television personality Chardelle Moore will host and guest narrate the Baltimore production of “Scenes and Songs from FANNIE LOU” on Saturday, March 21, at the Baltimore Museum of Art's Meyerhoff Auditorium. The event, which honors the life and work of voting-rights activist
Fannie Lou Hamer, will feature selected music and dialogue from the esteemed musical Fannie Lou performed onstage by a talented ensemble cast drawn from the Baltimore region and beyond. The event also will feature a perspective-setting talk/discussion about the social, cultural and economic environment in which Mrs. Hamer lived, in comparison with today; a tribute to Baltimore's late U.S. Rep. Elijah Cummings, who was a staunch voting-rights advocate; and a talk-back Q&A session with event participants, guided by Ms. Moore.
