Two DUIs In One Day For Baltimore Woman: Police
Police said 20 minutes after getting her first DUI, a Baltimore woman received her next one.

ROSEDALE, MD — A Baltimore woman was charged with driving under the influence twice in the same day. Police said she was pulled over and arrested, only to be stopped by the same officer 20 minutes after being released.
Stephanie S. Ringgold, 33, of the 1200 block of Valley Street, was charged with driving under the influence, driving while impaired by alcohol, driving off the road, negligent driving, speeding and other traffic offenses on Saturday.
Police said that after midnight, a state trooper was on patrol when he saw a gray Dodge Charger speeding and passing a vehicle on the shoulder on US 40 in Rosedale. Court records show the vehicle was allegedly going 67 mph in a 50 mph zone.

When the trooper stopped the driver near Berk Avenue and noticed signs of impairment, he gave her field sobriety tests and subsequently arrested her, according to authorities. Police said her blood alcohol level was .13; the legal limit in Maryland is .08.
Ringgold was released to a relative, and 20 minutes later the same trooper who arrested her saw her get back into her vehicle and drive away, police said.

He stopped her and she again failed field sobriety tests, blowing a .12 blood alcohol level on the intoximeter, according to officials.
One thing was different the second time, police said: There were no children in the vehicle.
When she was stopped the first time, police said Ringgold had a 4-year-old and a 6-month-old in the vehicle. They were the children of her cousin, who had also been drinking and was in the car, officials reported. The children's father picked them up when Ringgold was arrested the first time.
Officials said in connection with her first arrest Ringgold was charged with DUI while transporting a minor.
As a result of her second traffic stop of the night, police said she was also charged with driving a motor vehicle within 12 hours of a DUI arrest.
