Utility Issue Closes One Baltimore School Monday

Baltimore City Public Schools announced one school closure Monday due to heating issues.

BALTIMORE, MD — Heating issues have prompted an early closure at one school in Baltimore City. Fallstaff Elementary/Middle will close at 8:45 a.m. Monday, officials reported.

Authorities announced the early dismissal at the school in the 3800 block of Fallstaff Road after 8:15 a.m. Classes began at 7:45 p.m. and normally run until 2:25 p.m.

The forecast for Baltimore calls for a high of 47 and a low of 29 degrees Monday, according to the National Weather Service. It will feel like it's in the low 40s and upper 30s most of the day due to wind chill.
