1 Dead After Vehicle Drives Into Water Near Fells Point: Police
A woman died after her vehicle went into the water near Fells Point early Sunday morning, according to the Baltimore Police Department.
BALTIMORE, MD — A woman died after her vehicle drove into the water Sunday morning near Fells Point, according to the Baltimore Police Department. The cause of the crash is unknown, police reported before 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22.
Police said that crews were called to the 900 block of Bond Street at 4:44 a.m. after a vehicle was driven into the water, and the driver did not emerge.
With assistance from dive teams and fire boats, the Baltimore Firefighters Union reported before 9:30 a.m. that crews located the victim. Officials said the U.S. Coast Guard, Baltimore Police Department and Baltimore Fire Department were involved in the operation.

Police did not release the name of the woman who died.
The vehicle was a black Mazda, according to Fox 45.
