Veterans Day Parade 2017: Traffic Guide, Parade Route

Traffic alert: Roads may be closed between the Washington Monument and City Hall on Friday, Nov. 10, in Baltimore City.

BALTIMORE, MD - The Veterans Day Parade will travel through Baltimore from the Washington Monument to War Memorial Plaza on Friday, Nov. 10.

Several road closures will be in effect for the event. Primarily, Charles, Monument, Centre, Lexington, Gay and Holliday streets will be impacted.

The parade starts at the Washington Monument at Charles and Centre Streets around 8:30 a.m. and runs south on Charles to Lexington, east on Lexington to Gay Street to the War Memorial Plaza near Holliday Street.

The Baltimore City Department of Transportation has provided the following information regarding traffic modifications, noting the following will be closed to through traffic as of 7 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 10:

  • Charles Street from Fayette to Monument Streets
  • Eastbound Monument Street from Cathedral to St. Paul Streets
  • Centre Street from Cathedral to St. Paul Streets
  • Lexington Street from Charles to Frederick Streets
  • Gay Street from Fayette Street to Fallsway
  • Holliday Street from Saratoga to Lexington Streets

Drivers should be vigilant and on the lookout for pedestrians.
