Baltimore City Public Schools Weather Call For Monday Has Changed
Baltimore City Public Schools updated its decision for Monday, Feb. 11.

BALTIMORE, MD — Public schools in Baltimore City will be closed on Monday, Feb. 11. School officials made the decision around 7:15 a.m. on Monday.
The district office will open two hours late, and essential employees should report on time, officials said.
Liberal leave is in effect for nonessential district office employees on Monday, according to the announcement.

Baltimore is under a winter weather advisory until 10 a.m. Monday for snow, sleet and freezing rain. Drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions.
There are "challenging driving conditions" in Baltimore due to a mix of rain, sleet and snow," the Baltimore City Department of Transportation reported before 7 a.m. Monday.

"Use extreme caution if traveling, [and] delay your commute if possible," city transportation officials advised.

The two-hour delay applies to all Baltimore City Public Schools except Frederick Douglass High School, which will be closed for students on Monday. Staff there should report two hours late.
Half-day learning programs in Baltimore City Public Schools are canceled on Monday.
