Weather Decision For Baltimore City Public Schools On Feb 5 2018

BALTIMORE, MD — Public schools in Baltimore City will open late on Monday, Feb. 5. School officials made the announcement Monday morning.

Schools will open on a two-hour delay, according to Baltimore City Public Schools officials. Half-day early learning programs are canceled on Monday, Feb. 5.

The district office will open on time, according to the announcement from Baltimore City Public Schools.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement overnight alerting drivers that roads may appear wet, while in reality they are icy. People should give themselves extra time to get to their destinations and exercise caution on the roads, weather officials advised.
