BREAKING: Public schools and offices in Baltimore will operate on a modified schedule on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

BALTIMORE, MD — Schools will open late in Baltimore City on Wednesday, Feb. 7. School officials made the announcement Wednesday morning.
There will be a two-hour delay on Wednesday, Feb. 7, according to Baltimore City Public Schools officials.
Half-day early learning programs are canceled for the day.

Baltimore is under a winter weather advisory for snow, sleet and freezing rain until 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 7.

A wintry mix is expected to transition to freezing rain and end as rain late Wednesday afternoon, weather officials say. Up to 0.1 inch of ice may accumulate, according to the advisory.
Roads may be icy, and drivers should anticipate slippery roads and limited visibility, the winter weather advisory states.
Other Delays
All Enoch Pratt Free Library locations will open at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 7, due to inclement weather.
