Weather Decision For Baltimore Schools On Tuesday Jan 30 2018

BALTIMORE, MD — Public schools in Baltimore City will open late on Tuesday, Jan. 30, according to school officials. Baltimore City Public Schools announced a two-hour delay Tuesday morning.

Half-day early learning programs are canceled in Baltimore City Public Schools on Tuesday, Jan. 30, according to the announcement. The district office will open on time.

Drivers should allow themselves additional time on the morning commute as snow falls throughout the region. There is potential for slippery spots on area roads, and motorists should reduce their speeds.

Accumulations between a coating and a half-inch of snow are expected between 3 and 7 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.
